Genetic Diversity, Correlations and Path Coefficient Analysis among the F5 Populations of Brassica Species

The present study was carried out to estimate heritability, genetic variability, correlation and advance among F5 populations of ten genotypes in Brassica species. This executed following randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications during November 2017 February 2018 at the experimental field College Agricultural Sciences, International University Business Agriculture Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Aim research evaluate select best segregating for yield contributing traits towards variety development programs. Analysis variance revealed that were significantly different all characters studied. relative phenotypic coefficient variation (PCV) higher than genotypic (GCV) high GCV value observed days 50% flowering (FF), plant height (PH), primary branches per (PBP), pod (PP) seed (SYP) indicated a broad-sense heritability. A significant positive found (0.578**), height, (0.787**), length (PL) (0.406*), seeds (SP) (0.369*), (0.697**) hundred weight (HSW) (0.500**), but negative (-0.046*). results path analysis (0.287), (0.407), (0.919), (0.033), (0.035) (0.795) had direct impact on thus it these could be exploited enhancement performance showed based agronomic execution, G2, G5, G6 G8 might proposed future hybridization programs Bangladesh followed by activities.
